A simple text-based manuscript starts at $90 USD in this calculator. A 50,000-word text-only novel is estimated at $225 USD before optional cover, ebook or publishing services.
Does this include book printing costs?
No. This is a book design and formatting cost calculator. It does not calculate printing, retail pricing or author royalties.
Can I calculate in USD or CAD?
Yes. USD is the base currency. CAD estimates use the latest available Bank of Canada daily exchange rate, with a built-in reference rate if that service is temporarily unavailable.
What is included in the quote request?
Your manuscript details, selected services, currency and estimate are carried into the Contact form. You can attach the manuscript there for a final quote.
Can the estimate include KDP or IngramSpark?
